UT Extension is currently accepting applications for two new Extension Specialist positions in the Center for Profitable Agriculture. Both positions will be involved with the development of a new Tennessee Landowner Education program. The program is intended to educate Tennessee landowners about opportunities to preserve existing farmland; identify and analyze value-added agriculture opportunities; and achieve landowner objectives.

This Extension Specialist I position exists to provide leadership for planning, implementing and evaluating a statewide educational program in Tennessee Landowner Education. The position is full-time, non-tenure track, 100% Extension position.

The Extension Specialist – New Farm Enterprise and Entrepreneurship provides leadership for planning, implementing and evaluating a statewide educational program in Tennessee Landowner Education concentrating on the analysis and development of new farm enterprises and entrepreneurship. The position is full-time, non-tenure track, 100% Extension position.
